Easter family favourites

Something for everyone!

Easter makes the ideal time to get outside and try something new at Blakemere. With activities suitable for all abilities, Cheshire Outdoors offers a programme of thrilling pursuits, including crazy golf, low ropes, axe throwing, air rifles and archery. For keen crafters of any age, Cheshire Craft Workshop has over 500 pieces of useful and decorative pottery to choose from. Over at Crafts in the Corner, children can paint, decoupage, and try their hand at some fun sand art.

Other firm family favourites include The Playbarn, children’s playground and funfair, bird of prey aviary, and miniature railway(weekends only).

Tickle your Tastebuds

It’s easy to spend all day at Blakemere this Easter, with plenty of drinking and dining opportunities to tickle the tastebuds. Start the day with coffee and cake at Steve’s Artisan Experience in the cobbled courtyard, before taking the short walk to Classic Treats to stock up on ice creams and sweets.

Make a pilgrimage to The Village Restaurant for lunch and end your day relaxing in the heated tipi at Blakemere Village Social, where smoky, woodfired pizzas and fish & chips are served alongside perfectly poured cocktails.

Make sure you also leave some time to sample the range of real ales at the Wee Howff micropub.
